How long will it last?

Microblading is semi-permanent, as it will not wash off. However, it will fade gradually over time. Although results differ from client to client, microblading typically last on average between 1-3 years, with annual touch-ups recommended in order to refresh the pigment and redefine the strokes. All cosmetic tattooing is a 2-step process, with both the first (initial) and second (perfecting) session included in the procedure price. Perfecting sessions can be booked no sooner than 4 weeks, and no later than 8 weeks following the initial appointment (waiting 6 weeks is recommended). Client’s pigment retention will be evaluated at the perfecting session, and modifications will be made if necessary. Please note that final results CAN NOT be guaranteed, as each unique skin type holds and breaks down pigment differently. Even after the perfecting session, it is not unusual to need additional sessions between annual refreshments. Frequency of sessions depends on both your personal preference, and the facotors that affect the skin’s ability to retain. Without maintenance, your semi-permanent makeup may leave a soft haze of residual pigment behind, which is still a great guideline when filling in brows.

How long is the treatment process

For the first Microblading session, the entire procedure should take about 2.5- 3 hours. During this session, I will shape and style the client’s brows for client approval. We then follow with pigment color selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, I begin the procedure.

The client is to come in for a follow up visit in order to have any minor necessary touch ups. The second Microblading session takes place after 4-6 weeks after the initial session. This session will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete.

I have tattoo eyebrows already. Can I still have Microblading?

There are many factors that affect this answer. I recommend sending me a picture of your eyebrows currently so that I can identify the best plan.
1) If your tattoo is too dark, I will advise you to have it removed before getting any Microblading.
2) If your tattoo is faded enough, I can add a lighter color shading to help cover, then proceed with Microblading on top of it.

I had a session of Microblading done somewhere else, but I am not happy with the results. Can you fix them?

Potentially, yes. I recommend sending me a picture of your eyebrows currently so that I can identify the best plan.

What aftercare do I need to do after my session?

Following the given aftercare is crucial to obtain the best results! All clients are expected to follow the following instructions exactly to get the best healed results! All products needed for your aftercare will be provided to you at your appointment.

  1. Keep your new brows dry until ALL flaking has stopped. This means keeping them dry in the shower, and avoiding sweating, saunas, and steam for the next 10 days. No working out until all flaking has finished.

  2. Apply a thin layer of aftercare balm (I will provide you with) to the brows 2x after cleansing, morning and night for 5 days.

  3. No makeup can go on or around the brows for 14 days. You may wear makeup around the brows, but leave at least one inch around them at all times to prevent infection.

  4. Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks. Please plan vacations and outings accordingly to avoid as much sun as possible.

  5. Do not touch, pick, rub, or scratch the brows. Do not pick the scabs or flakes as they come off, this will remove the pigment and lead to patchiness and scarring.

  6. No anti-aging or acne products on the brows ever (anything with Retinol, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, etc.)
